Open Web Sites Using the Browser of Your Choice!

After purchasing a new Logitech keyboard, it became obvious that the included iTouch software is basically poorly designed without any regard for the true customization of keys. First of all, there is no way to use Mozilla/FireFox, or any browser you choose. Not built-in anyways. But there is a way to program keys to open whatever browser you wish to any web site.

Hot Keys

After screwing around with iTouch for a bit, I decided to try using the Program choice instead of Website. By choosing Program, you can easily direct iTouch to any browser or file.

Here's an example:

To open Froogle in FireFox as your default Shopping site, just include the following:

You can do the same using Avant Browser:

REMEMBER!!!

Be sure you choose Program and not Web Site

Perhaps in a future release, Logitech will wake up and update this utility crying for an overhaul.
